Marketing Advice Paypal or Clickbank Pros and Cons?

Hello, I have been working on a site for 3 years. I got everything in order and have a loyal fan base, I want to now begin to sell subscriptions that offer our advice and I was wondering which path to take. I first need a disclaimer at the checkout as I do not want to get sued for any bad advice, but more importantly want to be able to have an affiliate program that doesn't cut too deep into any profits. From what I have seen Paypal seems the easier route to take, yet click bank makes the most sense as you can acquire affiliates. The problem is I am selling a product at the $9, $17 and $37 range for one year subscriptions. Which means, that not many affiliates will want to take me on despite being a popular niche? I’m stuck!?! I would love to hear some pros and cons to each service. Thanks

I would go with clickbank. Some other good options are digiresults.com and paydotcom.com. Check both of those out I think you'll find one you like.

what superpenguin says, I agree with.

What he/she didn't say, and I will add, is that paypal has rules against "home business" which can mean any kind of internet business. there are some horror stories circulating about paypal cutting people off and keeping their money if they run afoul of this rule. The stories I read had to do with subscription sites. go with clickbank, its the biggest and best known.

I was just reading that.... Two minutes ago. Weird? I thought paypal was a lot safer. My other question is with a disclaimer? I want this to be apart of the checkout process, do you know if they have that with clickbank.

With clickbank, you can control what is on your sales and thank you page. so if you want to put a disclaimer there, you can. I don't know if clickbank will supply you with the verbiage. if not, google is your friend in this. The other thing is, having re-read your initial post, you are using clickbank for payment processing - they are well-known and trusted. You do not need to actively try to get affiliates if you don't want them, although I do believe you have to make your stuff available to affiliates. But, if you only offer $1 per sale commission, as you said, no one will promote it, except for you. Hope this helps.
