Hi all, im in process of building up a wiki for the city I am from. THe site is. http://sunderlandwiki.com. Its a few weeks old and its got 60 articles etc. Ive did the usual social media stuff, digg, squiddo standard marketing. Over time im hoping the locals will embrace it and add content themselves. Ive created a local business directory on there so local buisnesses can add themselves, sort of free marketing for them hopfully then will add some backlinks from the company sites etc. Eventually im hoping sell real estate space in the business directory so let say you go to the plumbing section a company could buy an add to to at the top of that page etc. Problem I have is i havent a clue where to start marketing this! any ideas? email companys ?...im hoping the fact its free to create a page will be a bonus.
