I have not been having the best luck getting traffic to my streaming movie site. What methods are best for promoting this sort of site? I have been posting around on different movie sites and such, but only getting around 150 hits a day. Also, what should I do for advertising? I am not using Adsense obviously.
Consider creating a few videos about the site and submitting them to tubemogal or trafficguyser, both submit videos to a handful of popular video sites. Chances are people seeing these videos will be more inclined to view your site because they are already watching videos at the site they are currently at.
money2e makes a good suggestion. create a few videos and submit them to top quality video streaming sites like youtube, dailymotion, veoh etc and provide a link back to your site. You will be amazed how much traffic you will get as video content is viewed frequently.
What do you mean? New releases, DVD, etc. For example, today I added Eagle Eye, Doubt, Bolt, Hancock, Etc.
