Marketing a personal finance blog

    I'm trying to find means of marketing a personal finance blog that I started a few days ago. What do you guys recommend besides directory submission? Thank you!

    Find legitimate ways of getting backlinks every day. Forum posting, blog commenting, article submission, link exchanges, press releases. Also - post to your blog regularly and submit your posts to social bookmarking sites.

    Add quality posts that will generate backlinks naturally, I have seen it help in getting quality backlinks only because of the good content.

    Do like Shoemoney and Chow did when they first started out: Advertise the hell out of it, and then let word of mouth take over.

    If you want to get anywhere, you are going to have to advertise anyway, so....
