Marketing a new website

I have a new south park episode viewing site.

I know it could have high traffic but how do i promote it??

 

Paid advertising, paid per click search engines, classified ads online and offline, forum posting, blogging, social networking, there a lots o promotional methods that you can implement for such task.

 

Or you can hire someone to do that for you.

For me the most effective marketing method you could do is to create videos for youtube or any other video streaming sites.

 

Use other videos sites like YouTube, Daily Motion and Revver as a platform. Show snippets of the episodes and tell them due to copyright issues, you can't show all of them. Then, ask them to go to your site to view the complete episode.

 

Make a Hub page,Squidoo Lens and free blogs then point one to the next and so on back to your original site you want to promote.

 

Press release and social networking may work as well.

 

I guess you could create a group in Facebook with your link to the site on it and invite a bunch of random people in. Also, posting on other people's blogs as well as adding your own URL to the space provided that might help

 

Try to write a unique press release.

I would consider creating a You Tube Channel if you don't have one already...

Also - i would strongly look into Lnk exchanges - with the right entertainment oriented sites it could be a good idea for you.

You know that South Park has an official website with all the episodes for free now ... don't see why anyone would use any other websites for it.

yes. i think its quite good to use youtube to promote your site. i strongly advise it.

 

For a new website, seo or ppc both are quite good options for getting popularity for your website, in seo, you can go for article marketing, can write press release, blogging and a lots of more. Many people use social media optimization for your website... so many options available. These options are for ranking and traffic which is an ultimate goal of any promotion.

 

I don't think so there is any different for optimization just start from searching good keyword and on page and of page work
