Hi guys I have a gaming forum located in my sig link. As you can see I don't have that many members on it. But I would really like to change that. So I right now I am formulating a competitions terms and prizes and getting it all ready so that I can start the competition really soon. But I want their to be a lot of people taking part so that there is no boring 2 horse race. To give you a better idea the competition is basically who can achieve the most quality posts in about 1-3 months. If someone reaches a certain amount of posts and I have determined that they are all not low quality responses then I will award the prize. The prize itself is a free game delivered to the winner by steam or post. So as you can see it will be pretty boring if there are only 10 participants in the competition, and not very cost-effective. So I would like to know how I could expose such a competition so that I don't have to spend a penny on anything other than the prizes and so that I receive like 100 active members on my forum. I am hoping that this competition will get my forum up and running so that it will continue to grow after the competition is finished. So how would I go about marketing such a thing. My current thoughts are that I post a link on article submission directories but that may come across as spam. Which is most definitely not what I want. Any suggestions would be brilliant, Thanks!
