It's kind of an odd question, but I'm just wondering if you are to market your board, would you call it 123 Forum or 123 Forums? Both are fine. But if I had to choose, i'd go for forum because it is one platform, not many different forums. For me a forum is one, like Digitalpoint (which market it as forums though). Forums may imply lack of cohesion, as directories refer to the plural as forums. I guess the correct terminology would be forum, and then you have what are usually called forums, but should be called categories. What do you guys think?
It depends, if your forum is pretty general with a lot of different topics, I would call it forums. If it was about just one specific topic, I'd call it forum. I personally think forums sounds better (its smoother to read than 123 forum..) I don't think people look into the fact that it's plural or not that much
