hey guys what do you think is the market value of .co.in in general ?

and esp. the LLL ? are they all registered like .com ? are LLL.co.in worth buying ? anything more than the reg. fee ?

    some thoughts appreciated :)

Most of them no. I have sold a few though, like asbestos.co.in for about $30 or $40, so if you have the right keyword, they can sell for a little bit.

Worse value than .info domains. Very few hold any real value (Sure Poker.co.in and sex.co.in but not even CLOSE to .com). If you are purchasing Co.In domains you do so hoping to sell them to a business/developer in India, Not in the U.S./U.K.

I believe that any LLL domain names (with any domain name extension are valued domain names)

It sure is going going to pick up steam, real fast once the online market is mature in india.
You might want to rank well for a lot of India specific terms and for such, a .co.in will prove good for ranking well in google.co.in as is the case with co.uk domains

Immediately, i see not much value. I mean I don't want much indian traffic... unless I was selling Banking products or Domestic Tourism packages
