I am doing some market research in regards to HTML/CSS coding services. All of you are website owners, so you would have all had to find a coder at some point. I am looking to figure out my target market, so far there seems to be two distinct groups: - Don't want to pay much, will go with whoever they think does the best job for the cheapest price - Don't care about money, just want a really good job I think that is true of most markets. Can you list these in order from most important to least important: - Price - Reliability - Turnaround time - Quality - Previous clients comments (testimonials) - Portfolio examples - Location (country)
For me it goes: Reliability Quality Price Turnaround time ( I dont mind waiting for quality) Personally the rest doesnt matter. I prefer to let your work speak for itself.
Lets be honest, everyone wants the coolest looking/functioning site. They expect people to instantly find it and come to it. Oh and they want it for free too. Everyone here is going to give the answers you want to hear, but in the real world what I have explained is exactly what you will get. People have become unreasonable in this day of age.
