Anyone here know what is the market price for an ebook that about 150 pages? Please let me know if you know the range. I was told by a freelance ebook writer about USD100. Thanks

It varies. The $100 quote by the freelance ebook writer is quite low. If they are actually offering to do it for that amount, you may want to grab it before they change their mind. DP is notorious for inexpensive writers, yet even here, search for "ebook creation." The lowest price I found for an ebook writer was $1 for every 100 words, the other, charged about $300 for every 30 pages. In my personal opinion, if they are writing unique, interesting content, even $5 a page and up, would seem reasonable.

Might want to add a zero to the end of that 100.

The best writers can and will command 15 -20 dollars per page for a well written *exclusive* (read: ghostwritten) eBook - regardless of topic. A capable writer will perform the proper research, fill each page and have a correct "book" structure. $100 dollars is very, very low, and it's either someone just starting out in hopes of getting testimonials or it's not unique content. I cannot imagine working at that price - given the amount of man hours it would take to create a unique eBook.

If you're talking about a real educational ebook and not 150 pages of pure BS then you're looking at $1,000 to $10,000 depending on the depth and complexity of the subject. I mean if you're selling methods for curing back pain then the writer has to educate himself on the subject enough so he can start creating an ebook. The process can take time I'd say a very good ebook can be 2 months+ in development.

Seqqa - Right on the money. I like to work right at $20.00 per page - but if the subject is highly technical I will charge more.
