Market Place

I was browsing the market place like I normally do and it seems like every site has been sold already. I would open the thread read the first post go look at their site and then when I scroll to the bottom I realize it was sold at bin. I think there should be a way for the thread started to close the thread. This would not only be useful for the buyer the seller would benefit from this too. They would stop getting pm's from members about the site which they no longer own. Just a thought nothing major though.

The thread starter can report the thread for closing after the deal is done. One more god thing about closed thread is that they would never get bumped by some noob.

Well not all users do that and so people will still see sold sites/threads.

Asking the mods to close the thread (if they wish to) by reporting it can do the trick.

I don't think it is possible to close each thread. There are about 60K members and a handful of moderators. At the peak time, there was about 1K threads started every day. If each threadstarter start asking for it, then I think Crazy_Rob will go real crazy :D

Please be careful, this sounds like the dreaded SP way. This forum kicks so much ass, please avoid the SP-ish jargon, such as Marketplace and the like.
