    My ideas:
    - Advertise on forum owner forums
    - Advertise on forum resource sites (forum skins etc.)
    - Google Adwords / Yahoo etc.
    - Post on webmaster forums with signature
    - SEO

    Anything Big I'm Missing?

    As for the articles, not really interested in directories and the other things they suggest seem to be for forums, not forum posting.
