Hey, i started my ebook site and submitted it to more than 700 directories and more than 25 search enignes! I also adjusted my prices and made them between the .99 - 12.99 Dollar range cheaper than other ebook stores! I have a average already of 55 uniques but how do i make the sells finally....
You need to do more then submit to web directories and search engines. Just keep working on building backlinks to your store. Any forum you belong to add your site in siggie. Have you tried adding a affiliate program on your website? This could produce a viral effect and grow a army of people promoting your store. Type up an ad about your store and post this on some free advertising forums. That huge banner in the footer of your site is sort of annoying in my own opinion. A smaller image would be nice. I have also plans of putting an eBook store. People do crave for 'How-to' information and feel happy if they've done it for themselves. However, you need a whole lot of effort to market and reach a wide audience and that includes a hell of writing spreading across the net. Also, learn some SEO and dominate in search engines. This will give you the best traffic - organic.
For this you have to go to Sitepoint marketplace and research how some of the successful e-book website are marketed. First digital point forum buy sell section (if its webmaster related or you are giving out MRR) 2nd Warrior forum (again if its webmaster related or giving MRR) 3rd is Article directories ezine and go articles (do some low competition keyword research using wordtracker) 4th is start an affiliate program and find more JV partner and offer them good commission if they can sell your book to their list. 5th is ebook directories/press release 6th is signature links of various niche forums (related to your ebook) Last is ADword or Yahoo ppc. Worst is Spam a million and may be 1 will buy.

Seo is very simple. Actually What ever you post in digital point ranks high in search engine. Or what ever you post in Ezine articles(if they approve) ranks high in search engine. Or what ever you post in digg ranks high in SE or what ever you post in yahoo answer ranks high in SE But. My dear the game is not so easy. The main part is KEYWORD research. Keywords that have less competition And Good amount of searches per month. And not already taken by ezine dp digg yahoo answer etc. for example Say your niche is Blogger templates and you writing stories or articles lets see some keywords blogspot blogger template 320 monthly searches blogspot blogger templates 880 monthly searches blogspot bloggers 390 monthly searches now lets analyze phrase match "blogspot blogger" 1,300 monthly searches "blogspot blogger template" 22 monthly searches "blogspot blogger templates" 36 monthly searches Now you have to look at how many pages are available for those search term in google give u idea just type the term in google.com and see the result of pages blogspot blogger 3,680,000 result (without quote also known as broad match) "blogspot blogger" 106,000 results (with quote also known as phrase match) Your best bet is to find keywords that have less then 100 000 result and more then 500 monthly searches. And rank your article story or post 1st page in google. Do it for 200 Low competition keywords. And that is all Good for your SEO and traffic. The other method around is Anchor Text. Buy or build 1000s of links and promote the keyword you want to rank high in anchor text. Example get PR back links from 1000s of sites with your keyword as anchor text blogspot blogger template Good luck..

for example your signature you wrote it like this www.myebookstore.us but this is no good for SEO you need 1000 back links like this (for the keyword you want to rank high in google) Ebooks, Software, Templates and more Although the keyword if you use in google adword keyword research tool https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal is not wise keyword you chosen with , , , etc So keyword research is vital You need to choose something like "Best Ebooks Download" which have like 22 monthly searches. means 22 ppl search for it in google and if you have that link as anchor text to your hyper link. and thousend s of it from many pr site. Such as signature in digital point forum. Or blog comments. You rank high in google for that keyword term hope this help
I realised that you are selling too many books at one time. Perhaps you can try a different approach. I learn this from Russels Brunson program.. Give away a book that gives value to people -> After which you put them in your auto responder system that provides follow ups. In the follow up emails, you can promote your books one by one. okay thank you for that tipp tonatoni! also i don't think i sell to many ebooks! it just like a normal store! it might seem like it but i will create a new design soon... so to put it together! I need to do SEO for mysite! Adjust the Keywords to make it more visible. Use other forums places to make the door popular and eventuelly give it a good store desgin!
im sure they have quality, i had a give away a while ago! 10 people got them and all were happy except two cuz i send accedently the wrong book but they still were happy about the service! anyways you right i need a good desgin! like i said looking more like ebay or amazon or basically just like real professionall store!
