What do you do when you get an email - mark as read or delete it?

I always mark them as read. I was thinking today if someone hacked my Gmail account I would be in so much trouble. It has passwords for hundreds of sites and loads of sensitive information.

Delete all emails, for my passwords I just have a Word document that has hundreds of passwords on. Still risky but safer than leaving emails with passwords in my inbox :p

Good idea. A bit time consuming though.

Will be for you, if you have to copy and paste hundreds of usernames/passwords, but i've had the word document for ages so just add the new info as I get them, takes 10 seconds :p

I also keep only useful emails in my email box rest deleted. Keep very-very useful emails with mark such as 'Flag' in yahoo emails and 'Star' in gmail for easy lookup.

Most of the time I delete unwanted and less important emails from my inbox. I have a diary to note down the sensitive information like passwords and keep it safe...

I don't delete anything in my e-mail only the unwanted e-mail in my inbox are just deleted but if the e-mail is important I'll just separate it in the other folder.
