Mario site needs a review

Hello,

A few weeks ago I bought online/super/mario dot com. I asked for suggestions in a thread at that time and now after making some changes I wanted to see what else I can do to make the site more appealing to visitors. Thanks

You can start off by adding more graphics and text to your layout... right now it just looks like it's filled with ads. A new header design would also help..

 

Where should I add the graphics. I only have a leader board of adds, should I change that? I do agree the header needs changing because it is very hard to even make it out. Thanks for the help.

You could try adding the navigation in the layout body also

you need more content. nice design it fits the whole mario world theme.

I can also say add more graphics although you should beleive some of the more experienced people in these forums as they can help you more.

 

I added a pic under the games in the right hand menu. I also cleaned up the games to get rid out the white outline around them. What do you think of the changes?

As far as content, what kind should I add? I am working on adding more game but I was also thinking maybe adding some trivia or news or game reviews. Any opinions?

You definately need more content as others have posted already. Some other things you may want to do is register the site with top search engines and directories like google.com, dmoz, yahoo, msn, etc... and make sure that your top keywords that you think people will search for are getting you on the first page in the search results. You can only do this by adding good content to your site and trading links with other sites of relevance. Other then that the site is really cool.

 

Out of curiosity, how much did you buy this site for?

 

change the menu font color to the same color of adsense title color!
