This is pretty naive. The Kurds are mostly Christian and they would not agree with you. Neither would the 200,000+ people butchered by Saddam. Besides, the current issue is mostly Muslims killing Muslims, and they have been doing that for 1400 years. The current violence is not focused on the Christians.

Perhaps we should institute a system of brutal violence and repression, which is the way that Saddam kept control of things.

In all seriousness these things are human tragedies.

Today, or yesterday the Pentagon announced that terrorist car bombers slipped through a check point because they had children in the back seat then jumped out of the car and exploded it killing and wounding several people and of course the children in the car.

Hideous.

Soldiers acting out in ways where they are prosecuted. Car bombs. Iraqis killing kids and raiding hospitals.

Its brutal.

Its rough to point the finger at anyone person(s) for acting out in the midst of war.

Though, from US and Western standards we should do so if and when the situation calls for it.

 

if you support the troops and hate the terrorists and islamic fanatics why do you insist of having them in the middle of that mess? bring them home so they wont get killed
