Ahh yet the 'conflicting' evidence from the pro governments side has for the most part been totally refuted. There is a difference. You can find a study to say the moon is made out of cheese if you truly want to 'Everyone' hey? I'd be willing to bet you pretty much every penny I have that you are not telling the truth here. Yet again that does not = pot being bad, that equals lazy people, just because 2 people drop out who also used pot does not make pot the culprit when you have 200 others who graduated just fine I bet those same people also drank, also smoke cigarettes, also drank soda. You honestly do not know what personal responsibility is do you? These same people are the same people who would have lived with mommy and daddy with pot or not. Simply because they also smoked pot doesn't with any logic at all conclude it's the 'pot' especially when far, far more people who smoke pot have no problem at all. Those same people also drank milk, was it the milk that did it? They also ate chocolate, I guess with your logic the chocolate must of done it as well. You truly are doing nothing more than using the same BS government crap, with no facts other than 'oh but a few who smoked pot also' well a few who drive cars 'also' a few who eat bread 'also' that does not by any means prove anything. It's very simple, some people are simply lazy, why must certain people always find a reason to blame things on other than the person themselves? Different according to you, getting older and other experiences couldn't have anything to do with it either. They smoked pot so it just has to be it. I know many lazy pot heads, same people were lazy before they smoked pot. I know many more people who are not lazy who smoke pot, those same people were not lazy before they smoked pot. Hmmmm Surely to me it looks like you try your best to blame peoples problems on a substance and not on the person themselves. I know ALOT of pot heads and my experience in the real world is totally different than what you claim. LOL yet again. 'done' compared to continuing to do are 2 totally different things don't you think? The fact of the matter is it's very rare for someone on hard drugs to do anything 'productive' while pot heads are productive every day of the year. So much so that you more than likely know many people you'd never think smoke pot, but do every single night. #1 you keep claiming pot caused it yet you have yet to reference even one study that shows pot caused it. #2 I am no expert, I however have read many articles, including pages you have linked to, even they do not state pot causes it Well if doctors are telling you something that is not backed up by anything I myself would surely question those doctors Personal responsibility and understanding some people are lazy to begin with would do you wonders.
Where is your evidence that those people would undoubtedly be lazy without pot? I can easily say the same thing about meth. I can tell you that correlation does not imply causation therefore people who get angry while smoking meth are just angry people to begin with. "Meth just brings it out more. But not everyone who does meth gets angry. Some of them are really content. Meth users also drink milk, eat chocolate, and drink soda." Of course I think that is BS because I believe drugs affect people, including marijuana. That would make sense if didn't disagree with just about everything the government says and does. These are observations I have made in my personal life. If you haven't noticed, I haven't relied on many studies or facts to back up my point. I have always believed in making judgments for myself, and that is what I sought out to do with pot. I had never seen an anti-drug ad (at least that I could remember? I don't watch tv) when I was smoking pot, yet I started to realize that many of the pot heads I met were lazier than "normal" people. Over time this conviction has strengthened. If the government agrees with me then that just strengthens my argument further. And neither does saying "but... they're not all lazy, I swear!" People don't live in a vacuum. The things we put into our bodies effect who we are. Like you've been saying all along, theres studies that show mental effects from chocolate, caffeine, and cigarettes. But getting high on a daily basis does nothing? Well, at least my anecdotal evidence was coherent and conclusive. What exactly does yours prove? That I may or may not be right? Its all semantics. I meant they currently do or have done hard drugs. It doesn't really matter. As you may recall, the mayor of DC was caught trying to get crack during his time as mayor. Really? How many pot heads are productive every day of the year? Unless you have concrete numbers neither of us are going to win here. My reason for pointing out that some hardcore drug users have important jobs was that you said "what about politicians, artists, businessmen, who smoke pot?" You can use the same argument for heroin. It doesn't prove much. This argument is stupid because many people have been told by their doctors that pot is what caused their depersonalization. Unless theres a world-wide conspiracy by physicians, I think thats evidence in and of itself. The truth is I don't feel like going on Google and finding this information. I'm 100% confident in what my disorder is and what it has been caused by. Unlike you I have thought about this for years and spoke to a psychiatrist and a number of physicians about it. And besides, you're the one who said there are studies that say the moon is made out of cheese, so why the emphasis on studies anyway?
If you've never used it before in what way would you be qualified to determine if it should be illegal? You can decide personally not to use it without subjecting the entire country to your view.
