It might be me, but I've read over your post several times and I cannot make out this 'pairing seed' thing is
Well you won't be with a team Until the 11th because they haven't picked them yet! Lets say your link 964 and UCLA is the #1 seed in that division of the bracket. If UCLA wins they move on and so do you! If they lose... your out! Every 64 Links added will be made a seed!
