I recently acquired the domain and started work on it yesterday. Looking forward to your comments.

 

If you've been working on a 404 page, then it looks great!

 

Ah no, there it is -- looks great. Clean navigation, good content. Well done. (Like the way you've done the AdWords too)

 

Its not bad but I would definately go more into actual marothons (they are only referenced).

Maybe info on how to enter each (ie. the Boston Marathon)

Also - It lacks that bit of personality. You need either more interesting pictures or more personal content. Maybe a blog on one marathoners experiences.

It looks okay..but..

I hate going to a website and seeing adsense right in the middle of my screen. It makes it so 'busy' looking.

I don't like the colour scheme. It's too bland and dull. Try brightening it up a bit. Make it more eye catching and not a visual sleeping pill.

Putting more info/pictures on your main page instead of half the room being taken up by adsense would be good.

Apart from that, cool..

When I said 2 days I meant "yesterday and today"

 

I think the menu should stand out a little more, now it just looks like some text and the ads are overpowering.

 

I think it looks good so far. You might want to narrow it by about 20 px or so. You'll get horizontal scroll at 800x600 at the current width.
