Mapping Software or Service

    I think this is the most appropriate forum.

    We want to build a web site that maps every one of a certain type of store globally. It would be community based, where members could add new stores and we would also add stores. The service would contain a visual map, driving directions, store hours, user comments, photos, etc. The store owners could log in and edit own information.

    It's like the Business search under Google Maps, but with a lot more detail and specific information for a very small niche of stores.

    Is there a package or service out there that helps with type of development?

    Also, are there any developers who might want to work with us on this, or point us in a direction?
