maple.com is a very big money name - no doubt you can sell that in the $XX,XXX area...there's probably a company named Maple out there that would really want it.
I don't own these domains but was thinking of making offers for them so I just wanted an idea of the price ranges
dependant on who is bidding ie if there is a maple inc or maple plc, more than likely there are 3-4 companys withy this name, if sold correctly $50-60k maybe more.
he does not own them. he clarified it in the second post also, these are surely great names which are probably not for sale. u can always try though
yea dont get involved with trademark issues, unless you own the TM. they can just take the domain away from you
I also own a Maple domain. About the trademark comment, a certain Canadian based company pretends to own the trademark, but there are no records of this in the CIPO database and that company's record in the database doesn't include maple as a trademark. Can't blame for trying, but the fact that they put MapleTM on their site doesn't mean they own it and its pretty dishonest of them to do, but they do it anyway. Another way to look at this is Maple Leaf, which is a much more recognizable brand in Canada, and it doesn't have rights to Maple Leaf. So... Now, if you want to offer me XX,XXX for the domain, its yours ;-)
If you find the right buyer, definitely in the $xx,xxx mark. If you find a buyer who is rich and desperate, low $xxx, xxx
