Many Yahoo links but only 1 in Google?

    Hi, Yahoo has listed 35 inbound links to my site, but Google has only listed 1. I have established links from the manufacturers website who's products we sell which is a PR 6 site, but these links do not appear in Google.

    Any Advise?

    No worries, google does not show all backlinks to your site. Matt Cutts says there are a few reasons, but mainly so competitors cannot recreate your SERPS by using the same backlinks.

    If you want to see all your backlinks recorded by google, open a "Google Webmaster Tool" account. Google will share all recorded backlinks to you only once you verify you are the owner of the site.

    The other thing is that Yahoo shows all links from one domain while Google shows and counts a selected few.

    yea my websites has like 2,000 in yahoo and only 35 backlinks in google kinda strange no?

    well if you are very active on Forums Yahoo will count all the links while Google will only count a couple. Not to mention that Yahoo Site Explorer counts also the "no follow" links

    Dont worry, google will find all your links. But google wont show for some reasons :)

    Google has a much stricter policy about counting links, the best way to know how well your page is doing is leads generated through traffic

    every one search engine have diffrent agos, they work on them , google and yahoo both have diffrent-2 algorithms for crawling. it's depand whole search engine crawlings.
