Many "blog sites" have high rankings & just redirect traffic to affiliate campaigns!!

I noticed that many "blog sites" (= sub-domain of a blog, like yourname.blogspot.com) have high rankings within search engines, for example - MSN Search & just redirect traffic to affiliate campaigns!!

How is it possible that such sites get a top-5 ranking within search engines (i.e. MSN Search) & the only thing what those personal blog urls do is "re-directing" you to affiliate offers whereby you will NOT see the original blog itself at all?

What is the 'trick' here to get such a high position?

    Thanks!

    ive seen this many times.
i made similar blogs to test how much time it takes to get indexed into MSN for those keywords. The spam blog was highly optimized so that MSN serps would love it.
However, its been 1 month , 10 days and my site is indexed, but not showing in MSN serps..
however, if you search for ' online casino ' youll see hundreds of those spam blogs that redirect to affiliates. So msn isnt doing anything about them, however, i am very very sure they have changed their algorithms to prevent new sites from entering MSN serps quickly .

I have normal sites that have been indexed from 1 month, and they are still not showing in MSN serps at all.

I guess there is something being cooked by MSN search...

The blogs show normal content to MSN's spider and just do a redirect for a real visitor.

MSN is easy to rank top 5 for most keywords.

    Thanks hamoudi_a!

I am not sure if that is the case regarding new submitted websites not showing up in MSN serps after 1 month. I posted on different forums thread about current situation of MSN Search, because my sites came to 1st page in NO TIME end of last year but beginning of January this year it stopped!

Anyway, I received many replies of people & most of them mentioned that it's still very easy/fast to get a (high) ranking in the serps, even after couple of days already!! That gave me hope to pick up my sites... :D

To come back to my original post, this is an example blog url I found:
    http://www.j-ringtones.blogspot.com

This site uses a tricky javascript in order to cover up things! As you can see blog url is re-directing to affiliate campaign!

    Thanks mad4!
So you are saying that spiders craw his blog & NOT his re-direct affiliate url?

    Another example:

    URL -

    ezproxy.lib.ucalgary.ca/login?url=http://free-ringtone.your-ringtones.org

In this case spider wil craw above link, but onpage content 'only' ezproxy.lib.ucalgary.ca because '/login?url=http://free-ringtone.your-ringtones.org' is the re-direct?

    Thanks a lot! :)
