Many backlinks disappeared on webmastertools

My many baklinks (about %70 of them) have been disappeared on google webmaster tools is there any one experience same thing?

 

YUP!... I experienced the same thing today as well...Personally though, I wouldn't worry about a thing, unless you lost your position in the Search Engines and dropped to oblivion?

But, just keep building backlinks and don't worry about it too much.

My search position is very good now but hope it will not result the search engine position also . I experienced currently for 2 sites both of them are very good at seach engine position and have sitelinks. I think it may be a temporary problem problem since i was experienced totally disappearing before but it was temporary after 2 days they all came back.
but still i have a little panic.

 

I would not worry about it either since Google has issues with data from time to time. Like GuruCreation said I would not worry about it, until you start to see your traffic or rankings drop. Most of the time the data will be corrected within a few days.

 

I experience this often myself, as long as it doesn't affect SERPs then you have nothing to worry.

 

That could be temp. link which may be deleted by admin. Some time some link submission just for specific time period so after that time your links delete. So after cache by google your backlinks disappear in webmaster tool.

 

I also seen that google webmaster don't show all links and their is no one who show all baklinks of your site but you can use Yahoo site explorer to check you baklinks

Some times it happens but keep building your backlinks.. some times webmaster is not accurate. so dont worry..

 

There is nothing to worry about this... Google will never reveal your actual backlink count. But it is always aware of your actual backlink count and their quality.

Try to check your backlinks in Yahoo! siteexplorer.

 

The problem with Yahoo Site Explorer is Yahoo has stated that they are no longer updating their index, so it will not list recent backlinks.

 

I also have experienced same problems. But this should not worry you. You would worry if your rankings dropped.

 

Have you bought the back links ? If yes, Then might be the admin removed the back links from the page.
