Manually updating RSS feed

My news site, www.hawkherald.com, is currently written and updated by hand; i.e., I do not use MySQL or any sort of database. I was still wondering, since search engines such as Yahoo! seem to like it, if I should create an RSS feed. I have never made one before, so I don't know where I would start, but if this would help regain some of my search engine traffic from Yahoo! and others I think it would be worth it.

    What do you people think?

I think it would be worth it, personally. It would probably help a lot with your traffic.

OK, does anyone know where I can get a basic template for an RSS file?

OK, I finished my RSS feed. Do you think this will have any noticable affect on my traffic from Google, Yahoo!, etc?
