i am adding manually links in around 100 directories daily, is it good or not ?

which type of directories are good i am doing it in PR 0 to 8 all.

 

If you have been doing 100 a day, then its too late. When Google re-run the penguin algorithm you will be dinged.

 

Will Google give credit if links come from directories? I think Google is looking for quality websites, those relevant to your niche.

 

100 links is too much if you will not able to do it constantly, it will be considered as link scheme.
And also, I don't think directory submission is still effective these days.

It is worth it if you submit your website to quality, long established and well edited web directories, but since you said you are submitting 100 every day, then surely you are submitting to low quality web directories.

Ignore those who say, do not submit to directories because Google slammed them, as they are repeating each other and have no clue. Google slammed all types of low quality websites including directories, blogs, article sites, etc. So, what you have to avoid is low quality websites.

 

wow... how did you even find 100 directories?
there're less than 100 directories which are worth your time, the rest are just junk and you should stay away from them.

 

And that's the real answer. Exactly are 24 directories and you should not do that daily, you may plan "maintenance" and verify that the submitted info are consistent. Do not think that links from pr-0 directories will help, do not think to submit your company on niches' directories that don't belong to your category...

yeah, I understand that you can easily go to directorycritic.com or similar service and find thousands of web directories. Most of them will be meaningless domains, not indexed, or of poor quality.
There're much less than 100 directories which are worth submitting to... the rest if just junk.

For directory submission I suggest that you never use your main kw. Only use brand name. It is still working as long you use only the correct anchor text distribution.

 

Directory submission is outdated these days from seo point of view and you should not do it in excessive way.

 

Yes, you can get backlinks to your site by submitting your website to high quality PR directories.
If your site is aged, getting 100 links to it will not harm your site because it is already established
with google but if your site is new and you are getting 100 backlinks to it every day, believe you
me, the almighty google will banned your site for getting too much links.
