What I think some of the posters are trying to get at is that submitting to a large number of directories quickly is a red flag to search engines because it isn't natural.

Submitting to a small number of directories on a regular basis over time mimics more the natural way that links build, and is better for SEO.

It isn't using the tool or not using the tool, but how quickly you get the links.

Right now I am just farting around with the 10 day free trial. Of the 100 directories the trial version offers (full has 2100) I was able to submit to 44... mind you, the other 56 wanted payment, or a reciprocal link.. so I skipped them.

    Any input???

Dude...quit farting around with that thing....

I want you to go join my site. :> You're gonna find that you can get link partners with a click of your mouse. It's less hassle than submitting to directories. If you really want a program try Submitease. Actually I think that's for articles.

Listen..bubba. what's wrong with giving reciprocals? You just ignored them? I understand that it's work to do that, but it's really not any work at my site, because you just click on a site, and low and behold, the linking code goes up onto your page like magic..Anyways..good luck with your directory submissions.

What is a good pace for submitting to directories? It seems approval time varies from directory to directory.

Automated submission is not a good option. Most of the time, ppl will consider it is a spam. Manual submission need time and my suggestion is hire someone to do it for you.

I'm not sure if most people in this thread understand the question.

The "manual directory submissions" you buy would use software such as the demo your trying.

It just quickens the process, it auto-fills, you add category (if applicable), washmark (if applicable) and submit.

It just depends how many different websites you are going to end up submitting to the directories, and how much your time is worth.

So if you buy the software...

    1. How long would it take for you to enter into 250 directories?
    2. How much are you worth an hour?
    3. $25
    4. How many websites are you going to use it for?

substitute in numbers from above questions
    [3- (1*2) ]* 4 = ?

Anything over $100 your saving cash.
(This is based on the software cost of $100, and 250 directory submissions for $25)

So if its >$100 and you dont mind spending the time, the softwares right for you.
