I am considering getting a manual treadmill as backup for an electric model. I tested a manual treadmill in a sports store. It was different and I am a little concerned I will not adapt. Anyone use a manual treadmill on a regular basis? Brand? Results? Q..
I use a motorized one 7 days a week. I dont think I'd like a manual one. However you can always take the motor drive belt off your motorized one and you'll have a manual treadmill.
Most of the Manual Treadmills are known for having small belt that are not very comfortable and make it very hard to walk on. Also the heavier you are the harder it is for you to make it work properly. Just make sure your treadmill will not end up as a clothes hanger. Good luck
Yes, I am concerned that I will not like the manual version. I think it maybe a good backup-- in case of emergency. Thanks for your input. Q...
