    Isn't automatic for girls... just kiddin... I think you gain better (starting) acceleration in automatic vehicles but nothing can beat the control you get in manual gear shift. A person who's used to driving manual can easily drive an automatic vehicle but not vice-versa... and you cant throw your car into a controlled drift in an automatic vehicle... yetch

    I prefer automatic...honestly I don't think I could drive manual because last time I tried I just about got into an accident.....

    I've only ever driven automatics. I never really learned how to drive a manual. :eek:

    I have both actually. I prefer manual though because automatics are too damn expensive to fix. Also I drove rig so I am used to shifting gears. My 5 speed is better then the 10 speed rig though.
