Manual directory submission vs automatic directory submissions..

Recently after the google update we have compiled a new list of about 200 directories excluding the ones which got banned by google and doing manual submission to directories and search engines. We have around 20 sites and and initially we did the submissions for those sites which have given us mixed results.

When we started our company we bought dynamic submission 2000 enterprise edition for 500$ and did the automated submissions. They claim to submit to over 800 search engine and directories. But we never got listed in any of those directories or search engine. The report Dynamic Subs provide is very nice and agreeable and any one new to the submission will trust that their site is submitted to so many directories and search engines.

I am still wondering how companies make a huge fortune selling the automated submission service to clients. Some of them even go a step forward and say that they submit every month ( Do any of you, directory owners allow sites to submit every month?). We have experimented some new sites with these services.. not to mention we never had any improvement in traffic.

In the past years I have done a research on the submissions(trial and error mostly) and here are my findings..

The directories differ from each other in having..

Different categories and sections. (Some may have as less as 12 main categories while others have more than 3000 categories classified into sub categories and inner categories. The category names are not consistent across the directories)
Different types of form input. Some search engines will ask for a very few details of your website whereas a dedicated account is needed in others for submitting your website. You need to do a detailed registration by providing phone numbers, address etc.
Registration and confirmation methods. Most of the search engines and directories need a confirmation from your email to avoid automatic submission.
CAPTCHA (IMAGE Confirmation) – A picture with numbers which have to be manually entered. This is also to avoid automated submission.
    Approval of your website.
Maximum number of submissions per user (some of them restrict to a single submission per user)
    Frequency of submission..

No automated software or service can take into account the above different features of search engines and directories while submitting the web sites. The fact is most of the directories do a manual review on the submissions and will find out the automated submissions sooner or later and block them.

Considering the facts above the best way to submit your sites is to do it manually. It is a time consuming and tedious task.. Remember no pain no gain.

Again there are companies which claim to have submitted your website manually to 300-500 directories and provide you a spread sheet. Don't get foxed by it. Better do it yourself or find a honest co. or individual who could offer some concrete proof on what had been done.

None of the search engines are capable of identifying which submission is Manual or Automatic. Automatic submissons are deterred because it uses so much of their processor power and nothing else.

We have good experience with manual search engine submission and have been doing it since 2002 to a considerable amount of sites.

Over the past months we have researched the market and compiled the best search engines, directories. (We update our list after every Google update. Last update on 22nd July 07 ). Our low cost operations and vast experience had made us more affordable and preferable over other service providers. We submit websites for as less as .17 $ for a manual submission, which is the best rate in the industry.

The uniqueness about us is, we supply you with screen shots of each and every submission made. You will receive 120 screenshots of every search engine and directory with the submission form which will have your data which is submitted. The screenshots are the best evidence that we have submitted to each and every search engine and directory.

With any other company you have to take their words for the submission. They just provide you with a report on a spread sheet or word file saying your site is submitted to so and so search engines on the given dates. We offer you a concrete proof of what we are doing for you and how we are doing it. On top of it we will provide an account which will consist of all your confirmation mails, which you can use it for future reference.

Also on your request we can do the vile silencer list or any other directories for .19 $ /submission. You can have different set of titles, description as well. For more of our services visit us at submitinme.com
