just like another url submission, you will need the detail to be sent to him and then you will get confirmation link to your inbox,[just like op said ] but most of them need review first to get index on their directory, some high and some doesn't have any PR.. and I still waiting for confirmation link that my website get into their directory

On the mail id that I gave him to use for submission I have received hundreds of confirmation message from various directories.... I confirmed them by click the verification emails myself..
