Even in India so many people are paid less than $50.00 for two weeks. Here in the Maldives we don't have a minimum wage law so, generally paid low salary. However, there are exceptions

i guess you are talking about poor people who comes below poverty line. Otherwise i never saw people are getting paid $50 for 2 weeks.
