Can I Maintain my PR is a question that everybody is asking...
Can anyone answer, If I recently got PR 1 to my website. If I will no longer work until the next update, Will I lose it?

    That depends.
If you can keep your site updated regularly, have it fully optimized, and can gain and or keep the quality links coming in, yes you can...but if you don't do anything and sit on your bottom, then you'll most likely lose it.

Are you saying you no longer want to do any work on the website? If that's the case, then your rankings will drop and you will likely not have any toolbar PR by the next update. You have to keep doing what you're doing.

If some of your backlinks are removed for any reason probably in the next update it will go pr0. But don't get worried, as long as you stay in the serp you are find.:)

Try and get a higher PR rather than worry about losing PR1. Get some high PR backlinks. Like commenting on high PR blogs.

The logic says if no backlinks are added or removed - the PR must not change
But you never trust their algorithm.

if you can make your unique content and submite to some web directory you may be able to maintain your page rank, the more important for lots of backlink because it will make your blog more in the index by google :D
