Mandatory Immunizations For Healthcare?

Not sure if this is even true, I've just been reading this, what do you think?

They are saying you would be fined if you refuse to pay for mandatory health insurance, yet they will refuse to provide any care unless all your immunizations are current. What if you don't want to get vaccines?

One place I found that info is: Democratic Underground and here's a Google search for "Center for Disease Control, mandatory immunizations, health reform"

That is just a symptom of what is going on all over, here in the UK they are clamping down on just about everything, and trying to regulate everything down to the minute.

I read (and it was in a lot of mainstream news) that Libertarians are being labelled terrorists and should be watched. Maybe people would prefer Libertarians to tear down the layers of bureaucracy that former governments have created.

Just part of the overall plan, does it surprise you Rebecca? The control of every part of your life is the goal of many of these politicians. The socialistic view of us and them, rulers and peasants, savior and sick.

When did we become too stupid to take care of ourselves?

Why can't I decide if I need to pay for healthcare or not?
Why can't I decide if I am of high risk and need a vaccine?
Why can't I decide what I want to put into my body?

Funny, I thought I was an adult now and could make my own damn decisions....

Don't think it'll ever be mandatory.

Yes, it does. It would really put those that have safety concerns about vaccines in a predicament. I'm assuming that soon health insurance will be required by law, and there will be a private or government option to choose from.

If this happens, what if private insurance follows the government lead, requiring vaccinations to be eligible for health care insurance? If you refuse vaccinations, then you will be fined $750-$1000 a year, but wouldn't be able to have any health insurance coverage.

I'm not completely against vaccines, but I just feel that we shouldn't be required to get them to have health insurance. I'm wondering if it's the basic immunizations they would require, or anything the government recommends, such as swine flu vaccine? I've already decided I'm not getting the swine flu vaccine, but instead taking multivitamins, vitamin c, antioxidants, vitamin d3, and cod liver oil to try to keep up my immune system.

This is being talked about a lot on the Internet, but I have yet to find this on a site that I consider totally credible - hopefully it's just an Internet rumor?
