Bad Yes, you can say that regarding the Champions League final, but overall they played the season well, and I thought they deserved to win. Now, of course the situation is dicey considering what the man utd lineup would be but I'm sure they have a good club. They're a formidable force when you refer to English football and that can't be overlooked. We'll have to follow all reports closely to see what's Man Utds' player acquisition plans for this season are. Any updates on that?
Well you can see some action from next week as most of players are busy with international fixture but I am sure Manchester United will land few players in this summer.
Whats big deal with that? They lost to Fulham 2-0 They lost to Arsenal They lost to Liverpool They Lost to Derby They Lot to Everton They Lost to Barca?
I no longer feel to bad about the Champions league loss The Community Shield game was saddening but I'm very thrilled that we won the 1st EPL game. By now I guess we're all used to the fact that Man Utd always has a slow start but I think we'll only get better. I think Valencia played extremely well on such a big platform and was so visible all through the first game. Owen should have scored that last minute goal, real silly that it didn't happen.
Well yes Manchester United is style to make a slow start and they always use X-mas time to grip on titles! I am happy that we start the season with 3 points which missed in last two season so it is good for us! Now second match is tomorrow and I think we are enough strong to grab 3 points tomorrow!
You are so right. Their slow start makes everyone so jittery. The community shield went, but at least the 1 goal lead with Birmingham city gives us a solid start. I reckon some games won't be smooth flowing because of new team combinations so it's good to pick as many points early on because later it begins to get dicey. As of ow Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man City are looking super strong and no one wants to lose a point early in the series. Today game with Burnley should be good for us and I think a lot of the youngsters will get a chance again. Since Burnley was in EPL last in 1975, and the few games they've played against Manchester United in various other tournaments have all gone In Man Utds favor, I'm hoping for another 3 points too. All the best Man U.
Yes but you not ignore their threats as two ex-Manchester Players Chris Eagles and Richard Eckersley. They can make impact in game also you must know Burnley is hard working team and last they they beat Arsenal by 2-0. I also go with you as we surly picked 3 points but I don't think so United make any changes in first match except Evens!
Yes true, Burnley will try to play hard and at least aim at a draw. Their come back game was lost so they haven't scored, the best strategy would be to draw level with the big teams. So, I think man Utd should just go out there with the mindset to score a few quick ones. @ goals in the first half will do the trick. Yes, I'm not expecting much of a change either since Valencia played well in the first game, and most others are settling in well. Any idea if Macheda will be playing?
Well I think today we might see Owen on starting line up as Dimi had some problem and I think Alex will give chance to prove his points on buying Owen. If Owen will start then I would see him on Score sheet!
Well, at the moment my heart is sinking, we're past half time, we're a goal down, Say goodbye to our # points, Carrick missed a penalty and nothings looking good. Man Utd is basically doing what they do best, scare the fans and make them nervous, lose a few early points and then chase. I think the game is going to end with us losing.
Yes but Burnley played well and they got their best results in league now. I am sure we would see reaction of this results in weekend match against Wigan. So far Manu and Liverpool dropped 3 points! So first advantage goes to Chelsea and Arsenal!
Man Utd goes way out of their league to shock viewers. Burnley fans must be thrilled. Surely after such a long hiatus, they're expecting a decent comeback and pick up points on the way, but this was icing on the cake, they actually beat the Red Devils. Berbatov missed a good chance too, and the team just didn't seem motivated. Owen played along game and no results so I really wonder if he'll prove to be an effective striker for the rest of the season. Worst part is I already saw reports about Man Utds weak approach because of who all we transferred out
Well we played worst football and no excuse from players! Why they choose Micheal to take penalty when we had Rooney and other players there!
True. It's not like Carrick doesn't convert goals but unfortunately he's not the best. What's the idea behind sending him and not other penalty shooters. They're giving him practice at being a better striker I guess. However, taking a chance with something as crucial as an equalizing goal doesn't really work. It's a bad decision that contributed in losing 3 precious points and may just have been avoided. The other reason could be that they were simply taking chances to see what works and didn't care much if they lost points so early in the series. . Yes even I feel very silly. It was a certain point getter & I'd almost taken for granted that we're picking up another 3 but that was not to be. I have never really watched Burnley play but for the sake of Burnley I think it was great. Beating the winners after a time span of more than 3 years, registering their first points for the season, & I guess by the end of the season they'll be one of the only teams to have beaten Manchester United
Well I don't think so that we need to make changes from last match team. That day we had good movement! Owen seems to not working for us yet. He missed two chances in two matches! How many he will miss?
Lets start hoping no one misses anymore. Today's our game with Wigan and I'm sure we'll win. I know the Burnley game was a disaster but lets just get over that & start collecting points. Cheers to a very probable 3 points today.
