I don't mind if SAF want to sell Nani and Anderson. 35 mil they invest for these two players seems nothing. Obertan didn't look promising as well so they need great replacement for left winger . I admirer Vidic but I think he really on his way to Bernabeu. Man Utd may sell him at 20 mil. Berba still have a room in this squad but they need one more striker who can kill the game.

Yes I am damn sure stage is set for Vidic's exit to Madrid and it would cost around $20M to $30, United may ask Swap deal with Karim Benzem which would be perfect for us. I think Karim Benzem will surly move to OT if he wants to show his performance to get place in France team!

I'm telling you pal, those Vidic rumours are false, Vidic and SAF said it themselves. Vidic is out for 10 more days, the media said he had an argument before the Leeds game when in fact he failed a fitness test

Well we all knows they just try to avoid problems. Same thing happen when Ronaldo told press many times that he will stay with us but see what happened! I think in Summer United surly sell Vidic along with others! Alex wouldn't accept pay rise which make him most earning player at OT. I wish I will be wrong as Vidic is one the best defender we ever have and last 2 season he save us many times!

A good example there, but Ronaldo was always going to go to Real Madrid in one way or another. Before the Champions League final, he said he was dedicated to the club, but once we lost, he said he was unsure about his future. Vidic on the other hand, is way more loyal. I know Nani will be leaving sometime soon. I don't know what SAF saw in him

Yes I am also not big fan of Nani and Anderson too don't know why Alex still not sold them yet! We should sold them and bring some good Midfielder. I wish Owen Hargreaves will recover as soon as possible as he is ideal midfielder for us and he can give performance like Ronaldo.

Very true, and Ferdinand is still 2 weeks away. Our defensive injuries aren't helping either. I think SAF has something planned this transfer season... he hasn't given much away. I know we'll pick up form soon, as our squad returns. This transfer season is nowhere as hectic as the July one. Nobody is making any big moves

Yes and If I believe in Alex then he surly go for someone in last days of Transfer to get deal done faster and without much problems. He should have some players in his mind but wouldn't express his views till last week! Also he also certain about his defender's availability which is positive things for us at the moment. Once we have 4 full fit defenders we will show good form which we did last season!

Exactly, we will mount a comeback in the coming weeks. The only reason we lost to Leeds was because SAF played a very inexperienced and youthful midfield and he was forced to play a defense which he woudn't have particularly liked. Everyone criticized Berba in that game, but he didn't have any support and he was playing with a knee injury. I'm surprised SAF even played him. In my opinion Vidic is more important than Ferdinand, as Ferdinand has been having some back problems as of late. And Gary Neville... he has completely lost it. He should've retired last season. And guess who's going to take over his captancy... Rooney! I think Ferdinand would've been the better option, but then again it would give him a leadership role to help him mature even more.

Yes spot on! I also don't understand why people blaming Berbatov for this! He is a player for me as sometimes his passes are killing one and opposite team can't defend it very well! He also need some time to settle like Vidic and Evera took when they came to Old Trafford.

Good to hear you agree with me... most of people I talk to about Berbatov only have bad things to say about him. We shall continue our conversation later man, I better head off to bed - it's 2AM here.

Well I don't think so, he is only lacking goal scoring, no doubt on his creativity and that's also supported by his assist this season which is no.2 after Giggs.

I dunno about Diarra, but I'd like to see Benzema or Akinfeev (in FIFA 10 he's 91 overall) at Manchester United. The Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa is pretty good as well and has a bright future ahead of him.

I hope so. We need General in our midfield who can lead the others like Roy Keane.

Yes United yet to fill that position since Keane left us and we need player like him who hold opposite team! Micheal sometimes provide good performance and sometimes he made many mistakes! That's why people suggesting his exit from United! I wonder what happen in Summer.:D

Report: Barcelona & Real Madrid Weigh Up £70m Bid For Wayne Rooney
The former Everton man is wanted by Spain's top duo.
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could soon be the subject of bids from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to a report from The Sun.

Financial figures released yesterday showed that United would have made a loss last year without the £80 million that they received from Real for the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.

As speculation grows that there is further financial woe ahead at Old Trafford, The Sun claims that selling Rooney might well be the only way for the Red Devils to ease the impending problems.

The two Spanish clubs are reported as already considering bids of around £70m for the 24-year-old England regular.

Man Utd face stiff competition for Benfica star Di Maria

Manchester United face competition for Benfica star Angel di Maria.

The Daily Mail says Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho will battle Manchester United and Chelsea for £15million-rated Di Maria.

United have offered £12m plus winger Nani for the Argentinian, while Chelsea sporting director Frank Arnesen has been to see him in action.

But Inter also watched him on Sunday and are now preparing an offer.

Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira is determined to keep him, but says they will not stand in his way if a rival club meets his release clause in his contract.

Vieira said: "The player will be allowed to leave in the transfer window if another club pays the clause in his contract. We need to know what the offer will be and then make a decision on which is the best value for the club."
