He picks up a ball from Fletcher as United break, holds off two defenders and slips the ball under Cudicini. Brilliant. 78'GOAL! Rooney! Manchester United cruise into 3-1 lead with 12 minutes to go
It was a champions performance from us and despite of 10 men United attacked got a goal! Evra was fantastic in second half and give good balls in middle! United now on second spot!
Yes and we also show to the world that we can win without Ronaldo and we can score from Free kick too. We had this results last season with Ronaldo: Against Arsenal= Draw Against Spurs= Draw But we had this results without Ronaldo Against Arsenal= Win Against Spurs= Win I really miss Pual in Manchester derby as we see goals from him in this fixture many times.
anyone paid any attention to Ando's celebration ... I actually LOL'ed seeing that. It was almost like he didn't expect that he'd score and he seemed completely confused when he did
Nice goal, but it`s taken him long enough to score... He`s not my favourite player by any means, but maybe this will give him the confidence to score a few more.
Manchester United have agreed a new contract with South Korea star Park Ji-Sung, the player's agent confirmed on Monday. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=676057&sec=england&cc=4716 Park is a dependable member of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad. Park, 28, was due to be out of contract at the end of the current season but will now be tied to the English champions until June 2012, having been rewarded with an improved deal at Old Trafford. Negotiations had been ongoing over the summer and South Korean media sources have reported that Park will be earning £3.6m per year, a pay rise of some £800,000. Top player good that he has extended his contract
ronaldo was just playing for money if he was not in champions league united would have won. Ronaldo was just showing off for madrid in that match.
This is good news for us and I think it's good for team too! Let's bring him in action in UCL as we know he is very hard working boy!
MU start off the Champions League with an away win in Turkey Scholes scores the winning goal Besiktas 0 - 1 Man Utd
Good to see we come with away win and it is very vital since we need to travel too much, this win make work easy for us. Alex also picked good team with one eye on Manchester Derby and good subs when he replace Rooney!
Well First of all lemme introduce my self i have been a United Fan for Like almost 7-8 Years and i think i have been a true fan. The Champions League match wasn't the best of United , cuz i think Rooney playing Alone up front just wasn't right.SAF should have put Berba from the starting other wise Man United Played well. As for Barclays Man U have now beaten 2 teams who were un-defeated(Arsenal and Tottenham) Before losing to United. So as for BPL Man U are playing Superb.
Lol! They are playing at home and win just by 1-0. We won away from home and it's not easy to go Turkey and come with away win that with 1 striker formation.
Well everyone knows difference between Besiktas & FC Porto.Do you remember last year ? when its was in OT manyoo vs fc porto 0-0 so Chelsea is better isnt it ?
Lol! Manchester United beat Chelsea itself at OT and draw at SB. Isn't it Manu better? We won 3 EPL titles and 2 back to back UCL finals.
Manchester United 4-3 Manchester City When the ‘going gets tough the tough get going’ as United down City in seven goal thriller The score line could have been much more but Shay Givens played a blinder for City, making many top saves, that would have been goals Rooney opened the scoring in the 2nd minute and Darren Fletcher scored 2 great goals Barry scored for City after a Foster mishandle and then Bellamy got a screamer for City to level the scores at 2-2 Bellamy made it 3-3 in the 89th minute after bad mistake by Ferdinand and very poor goalkeeping by Foster Michael Owen got the winner in the 96th minute Manchester get the 3 points despite gifting City two soft goals
