It looks like Manchester United are in the lead to sign up Antonio Valencia from Wigan Athletic for around £17 million. Trouble is though that Real Madrid and now Bayern are said to be showing an interest in the Equador midfielder.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=656150&sec=transfers&cc=3888 Manchester United have confirmed that Carlos Tevez has decided to leave Old Trafford, despite being offering a deal which would have made him one of the highest paid players at Old Trafford.
Yes I read too but we can't do anything, United was agree on price for 5 years deal but Tevez set his mind to go away from Old Trafford. I still hoping that someone will talk with him to stay Old Trafford.
Luis Antonio Valencia flew in last night to complete his dream £16million move to Manchester United - and end Sir Alex Ferguson's wait for a first signing of the summer. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...tonio-valencia-for-16million-115875-21479492/ Ecuadorian ace Valencia cut short a break back in his homeland to make the trip and will have a medical at Old Trafford today while his contract details are sorted out.
Yes it is good news and I think he will gives us edge in Mid Field. We also hoping 1-2 more players in next few hours and Our biggest hope is about Karim Benzema to join us!
I haven't actually seen A. Valencia play. Is he good? What are his strengths? Any comparables with other players?
Yes he is good and Wigan team was depends around him, He wasn't get attention due to small club but now you will see him in action.
Well, if he is hardworking (like Park JS), loyal (like Scholesy) and is a team player, then he'll be good enough for me
Yes he will be and I think it will be a good deal for us. We need players like this who help team to win matches not like other players who need help of team.
Good to see united on the verge of their first summer signing. Anyone know whats happening about the bezema deal?
Well United also going bid on him and they are facing problems from Arsenal and Real Madrid but United may have edge due to good budget. We are also going to bid on Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez and they both likey to join Manchester United if We failed to sign Karim Benzema.
Well it designed like back in 1910 and I am not much too impressed like other United fans but it would be good to see new kits from next month Asian tour! I would love to see new Sponser's name.
I wonder how many non-EU players can play in a game? Maximum of 4? United seems to be scouting S America a lot in recent years rather than Europe. Whilst the S American players may be cheaper, we may have a problem juggling them into the side...and risk another Tevez episode.
Yes you are right but Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez is playing well in respected leagues and I think both were excellent with their clubs. I find few videes of Sergio Aguero and I think he could be good option for us but I am sure Alex will try to bring Alexis Sanchez as he is winger and perfect for United. I think Alex should bring atleast one good striker as we have no option now if both Rooney and Dimi injured!
I don't doubt Aguero is a world-class striker but I always have doubts on S Americans doing well in Premier League. Just look at Veron and that Brazilian midfielder (I even forgot his name!!) that we had.
Yes it was British Records when we bring him and I agree with your points that South American player do well in EPL. For me Tevez was good in English Football but Alex missed out to take his best by brining Dimi.
