Match text clip Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and his defenders made Premier League history as Sir Alex Ferguson's side crushed 10-man West Brom 5-0 at The Hawthorns to move three points clear at the top. The 38-year-old surpassed Chelsea stopper Petr Cech's 2004-2005 record of 925 minutes without conceding a goal and United also set a new record of 11 successive clean sheets, breaking the Blues' record of four years ago. First half goals from Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez - after a Scott Carson blunder - effectively killed the game as a meaningful contest. But Albion were also handicapped by the harsh sending-off of left-back and acting skipper Paul Robinson - the ninth red card of his career - five minutes before the interval for a challenge on United midfielder Ji-Sung Park. Nemanja Vidic and Cristiano Ronaldo (2) piled on the agony for the under-strength Baggies in the second period to earn the Red Devils a sixth successive league win.
Did you seen Edwin van der Sar's interview on MUTV? He was enjoying the match by one eye on clock to beat the Petr Cech's records.
Well, Liverpool drop two points at Wigan. Great news for United with 2 points ahead and a game in hand... doesn't look like anyone can stop United now. Even with an injury crisis we have still managed to win games and create a record of 11 straight clean sheets. Just goes to show how strong our squad is and how good our youngsters are, e.g rafael, fabio, welbeck, evans, anderson, gibson and many more that have featured this season.
Well indeed it's an excellent results for Manchester United as Liverpool held 4th time and row and it could hurt them badly if Chelsea produce a great results on Sunday. I guess Rafa got the answer. 2 weeks ago they are top of the table and now they are on no.3.
Another good win for United earlier today when they beat Everton 1-0. Ronaldo scored the penalty in the 44th minute after Carrick was fouled in the area. For now, the Reds are five points clear at the top.
Can't wait for the match tomorrow to see Chelsea and Liverpool tear each other apart. Looks like a great weekend for United.
Indeed we have a yet another good results and this 12th straight clean sheet for Manchester United which also secure 5 points lead over Liverpool and Chelsea and if both teams produce a draw then it will be a good results for United as after this draw United still have 4 points lead over both team and more important 1 match in hand will also give edge to United to win the title. If draw not possible then Liverpool win will also be good for United as we know they can drop points anyway. United had a great chances and created few goal scoring opportunity but fail to convert them into a goals so we have to enjoy our favourite scoreline 1-0 once again.
Wow! Our good run is continue and we have now 13th match without giving any goal and 3 points we are marching towards to 11th title. I impressed with Giggs who changed the match absolute beauty and he shows that he has still some football to give for us. Yes we know now a days no player will play 17 years for same team and same league and I agree no one can broke his records and I am sure all Manchester United fans love him as they give important goals and yesterday's goal was one of the best for this season.
It was a goal with his right foot. I have to really search my memory for the last time he scored with his right foot, rather than his preferred left foot.
Yes it was rare goal from him and it was stunning goal I think young player should learn from it and I am damn sure any Manu fan watching that moment he was top of the world at that time.
Well yet again we have good results with young team and beat Derby by 4-1. It was a great game for United and Gibson and Welback once again on score sheet. United started without strikers as Tevez, Roony and Dimi all are on batch and we have 4 goals from midfilders. Next game will in Midweek against Fulham and win over them will put United 5 point clear at the top of the table and 64 min. without giving goal will be new World Record for Manchester United and EVS.
Hi, I have just made a great video for all Man Utd fans... this is realy a must see for all Manchester United fans : quickly go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tvc6z_JtRRE
Well it always be fun to see Manchester United in action even it's highlights as they always play attacking football which we love. But in this video I found other team players at the last.
Well we won one more game with clean sheet and that's 14th league clean sheet for Manchester United. It was a great match United looks attacking mind by beating 3-0 to Fulham. Yesterday Ronaldo and Scholes are best and Rooney's comeback was excellent as he scored for United. Now we are top of the table with 5 points clear on Liverpool and next games is also home game against Rovers.
