I often get semi automated type requests to my websites offering content in exchange for a link or offering a link exchange. The emails are all the same but are for different websites so I assume there is some kind of script/software they are using. Does anyone use anything like this, have a script or know any more about it? What I am trying to automate is this: Find potential link partners Send an email offering content or link exchange Give them a web interface to accept, reject and give details of content etc. Management area to see status of all exchanges, contact made etc. Cheers for your input!
Don't bother. My spam software is well trained and these types of emails are never seen. I am sure I am not alone. If you want good links, the best thing to do is pick up the phone. Barring that, a compelling personal email is the next best choice.
