Managing DNS Record

i am newbie to DNS management etc... however, my domain is accessible through http://techfreaks.in but shows up error using http://www.techfreaks.in

I know, some www record is missing. can anyone guide me to add it, and i am interested to use http://techfreaks.in as my default address

 

you did not mention your OS control panel etc... , assuming you have a control panel to access to your dns setting just add a record
www.techfreaks.in. A XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

there is a DOT at the end of your domain and replace xxx with server's Ip Address

anyway i figured it out by google...

Just add CNAME record in DNS records as value: www.techfreaks.in.
that's it..

 

thats right or you should point the @ in ip.address.
and add a cname for www

www in cname @

thats it
