Managing and searching matrix with databases

Hi,
What i want implemented is storing matrices in sql.
The size of matrix is huge around 300*300.
There are around a million of such matrices to be stored.
I need to make searches in this matrices.

So that basically means
i cant use serialize() since i have to make comparison and searches.
i cannot store each node of the matrix separately since that will result in
300*300*1000000 records which is impractical.
Moreover i want to make it as fast as possible obviously.

I have been digging search engines but i don't see any thing that can handle this stuff.
