GOD didn't "save his own ass" because HE was dying/died for your "own ass", as well as my "own ass"; If you're going to ridicule what JESUS CHRIST did for your "own ass", and my "own ass", at least, please do it with a little less ignorance than you've shown forth here.

BTW, lest you say that you didn't ask HIM to die for you, why aren't you rushing to die for yourself. . .seeing as to how you're going to die, sooner or later anyway. . .right?

He or IT made no sense...He died for "my sin" WTF!!! THis whole Jesus/Mohamad thing makes nosense at all...All I can say is there must have been some goood drugs back in the days for someone to claim that they are a son of god or a messenger of god...You know we have those type of people that claim to be a messenger of god to this day...Some have killed innocent people with them...David koresh and some others.

Because you're judging JESUS CHRIST out of your ignorance. . .and quickly becoming your stupidity. . .along with the fact that you've become conditioned to reject, before you listen and evaluate, all the information available to you.

What's more there is to know about Jesus...He came out of a Virgin Mary, then became a Carpenter and made minimum wage working for a daily labor, then challenges the Jews and claim that he is the Son of god. The Jews were piss and told on him to the Romans and the Romans nailed his bony-ass to a cross and one Roman dude speared him on the right side...later his buds took his body and place it in some f$#%@# place, then he went away...I guess to heaven and became a God, or was promoted as god...Lets see, from a daily laborer/carpenter to God...That's helluva of a promotion don't you think? How's my ignorance now?

This is pretty much what a belief in a magical man in the sky invariably leads to, grown ups making very poor decisions based on a delusion.

As sorry as i feel for them it's not as sorry as i feel for the poor kids who are affected by these cretins.

If the child had lived would you have been as equally outspoken?

A child died through neglect, it's not an appropriate time to try and push your god myth. But as you asked, no i wouldn't have been, because had she lived there would have been nothing to be outspoken about.

Do you think the father was right or wrong to do what he done?
Do you think that when a child is sick praying is a suitable substitute for medical treatment?

I really appreciate your answer, as well as your honesty. . .there's hope for you.

    Believe, RIGHT! Pray, RIGHT!
Leave his daughter to die just because he believed GOD, prayed to [supposedly] THE GOD that he believes, ABSOLUTELY not!
When JESUS CHRIST raised Lazarus from the dead, after HE had prayed, HE gave the command to those around HIM, to "loose him and let him go". Whenever THE LORD performed a miracle, HE involved other people (Doctors, etc.)

A substitute, NO! A precursor, YES!

While i do like that you are against leaving sick children to die while the parents sit muttering to themselves it does cast doubt on your "faith" in a divine plan and an intervening entity.

Actually it doesnt , because in your mind Stox you want god to make the world automatically perfect. Where is the lesson and growth in that. Even though the movie Bruce Allmighty was a comedy, there was a good lesson in it. It taught that we cannot possibly understand gods full plan for us all, but we should trust and have faith, and when Bruce tried to play god himself, he saw how trying to give people what they wanted backfired, bacuse Bruce was looking at peoples problems through earthly eyes, and not through heavens eyes.

As far as the child dying, There is no real christian that would deny their child seeing a doctor. Your bringing up one extremist family who didnt understand jesus at all. Your good at bringing one extreme example and attaching it to all people of faith. I would like to call it intellectual dishonesty, but it isnt even intellectual because your not doing a good job at hiding your true beliefs. The best way for a person to solve their own inner biases and hatreds is to talk about what happened to them to make them this way.
There are many people willing to listen here stox and I am one of them.

pong, the child died specifically because her cretinous dad thought the magic man was going to make it all better. You can defend that if you wish, or attempt to distance you and your cult from it, but the fact is these people do exist, they do believe it and their children are dying as a result of it.

Now sorry of that offends you and your precious, fragile little feelings but that's tough. you can take your feelings and shove them so long as there remains a single religious person willing to let their child needlessly die on the grounds that they think a magic man will save them.

Again Stox your comprehension level must have missed my full statement. These kinds of christiasn are extremists and they dont respresent mainstream christianity, and you know it, yet you keep doing the same deceptive posting trying to make all christians and all people of any faith this way.

Im really starting to worry about how mind processes information. How do you look for a few rogue examples and attach to a whole population of people? This isnt normal thinking.

If your mind has fully processed my posts throughout my time in dp you would understand that I and 99.9% of christians are against this sort of ignorance, but you cant see past your blind hatred for people of faith.
The problem here is your past experiences witha few people of faith and your using it to project against all peopel of faith and the problem is you dont even know all these people and you understand even less what all peopel of faith believe in.

    This is blind ignorance
I know most atheists are very educated people that process information with much less bias and hatred then you and that is why I get along with most of them and have many friends who are atheists. If they had seen your posts here, they wouldnt even recognize your form of atheism because it isnt based on common sense or knowledge, just pure ignorance and hate.
