In the collection of freak accidents, that was really bizarre. Its absolutely shocking that he didn't get hurt. I wonder how badly his wheelchair was damaged. The odds of this happening and him not getting hurt must have been like one in a billion.
What is the funniest (and a credit to him) is his only complaint after they peeled his chair off: "I spilt a bit of my soda pop"...

Apparently the truck stopped when it pulled into its terminal parking lot, where police finally caught up. The kid seems to be taking it as a grand adventure (now that it is over) and has no hard feelings towards the driver. His parents did say they are getting a tall red flag for the wheelchair so that he can be seen more easily. It is puzzling why he didn't have a red flag to begin with.
the guy should do the next commercial for those wheelchairs...sturdy? Let me tell you, I'll give you the straight dope on just how durable these chairs are!!
