Not sure you guys have heard about this incident, about 2 weeks ago... Three white tigers mauled a Malaysian to death in Singapore's zoo on Thursday after the man jumped into their enclosure, a zoo official said. Nordin Bin Montong, 32, a Malaysian working as a cleaner at the zoo, leapt into the moat of the white tiger exhibit and was attacked, said Biswajit Guha, assistant director of zoology at the Singapore Zoo in a statement. The noise from the attack caught the attention of zookeepers nearby and they eventually managed to distract the tigers and rescue Nordin. "Keepers managed to separate the worker from the tiger. While waiting for the ambulance, our vets attended to him," said Guha. "The worker tragically succumbed to his wound." Singapore's Straits Times newspaper said on its website that Nordin was seen behaving in an agitated manner before he fell into the moat. Terrified visitors near the section watched the vicious attack in horror and screamed, the paper said. According to conservation group WWF, there are about 4,000 tigers left in the world and they are considered an endangered species. White tigers are even rarer because they suffer from a genetic condition that strips their fur of the orange pigment, leaving the animal with snow white fur, black stripes and blue eyes. Holy God.....Just imagine the plight of the Malaysian when he would have found himself surrounded and then pounced upon by those tigers... Just thinking of it....sends shivers down the spine...!!!! Regards, RightMan
Probably best to post a link back to where you got the story from? Anyway, the video is pretty disturbing - some guy in the background sounds like he's cheering?
I'ts so so sad to hear about this man. BUT animals are not meant to be kept in cages, small enclosures so these things happens often. While I feel for the man and his family deeply, I also feel so sad for the tigers having to live like this...
Well, for those who didn't trust it, they can google search with this terms " singapore zoo tiger " . and, newpapers do mentioned that the guy may suffer in mental problems and wanted to suicide, some even said that the guy wanted to show off to the tourists, by proving that the white tigers won't eat him.. lol nvm... feel sad to him actually.

Ya its true....coz m here in Singapore n i too heard n read abt it. but strange thing is, there is no way or space to go inside the net of that tigers place....how he went n at that time the zoo ppl dint see him to go inside....its strange... n i heard that , the m'sian person was mentally disturbed....is it true or not...donno... but its very sad n shocking thing....
Ya I heard about it, when my mrs told me about it 2 weeks ago. Man, that gotta hurt when those tigers munch his parts. It's sad to see this happening, and it is my first time to see a worker from the zoo got attacked before.
i think katt williams covered this in his new stand up. It's not the tiger's fault, that's their natural instinct!
unfortunately, things like this are happening from time to time... dealing with a predatory animal should be an extra reason to be extremely careful
I don't think "being careful" was on his mind then. He kindda jumped in and offered himself to the tigers. It most surely isn't the tigers' fault.
