Sorry just had to rant a bit. I just chipped my car door :( I don't even have 10k on my car and while getting gas the wind caught my car door when getting out causing it to barely tap a concrete stop at the gas pump. God I hate winter! I am very picky on my cars, the chip is so tiny most wouldn't even notice it but man it pisses me off! Am I the only one who'd be pissed over a tiny little chip, please tell me I'm not the only one!

Reason I ask, my wife thinks I'm crazy for making a big deal out of it :(

Thank you for letting me rant on this. If you feel this was a waste of a thread fair enough, you can let me know by giving me red :D

Get a hammer and a chisel and chip the rest of the car up to match.. Call it an artistic statement and a unique art piece.

It will no longer bother you after that.

    Ooooh, a GT, eh.

You wanna hide that chip with a superessexwideboy body kit with 30 inch rims, a rear spoiler crafted from a Boeing 747 wing, an exhaust pipe a small chinese family could live in, and a Gigawatt stereo with twin 10-metre subwoofers.

Then your mates might not notice the paint is chipped...

hrbl, go break one of your wifes nails and then tell her that's how you feel when you get a chip in your car's paint.

I used to get mad about that stuff. Real mad...."break doors in the house mad" but now I don't let it bother me. It's not worth it! Especially since I have a black car w/ shitty paint and everytime I take a long trip I seem to pick up chips in my front bumper and hood.

I can only imagine how bad it would be if I didn't have 30 coats of wax on it.

lol, I'm anal on it I admit it. Once the paint is f'd there isn't much you can do but try to touch it up :(

I'd rather one of my computers fry or my house burn down than my car get chipped, call me odd! :D

A nail grows back so it's not the same ;)

Yeah, but it just doesn't make sense to get worked up over something you can't control.

Now yeah, this morning you were a real dumbass and let the door go but you can't control other people in parking lots or stones shooting up from trucks.

Although I usually park away from other cars and don't follow tucks closely. But you know what I mean!
