Mambo Template Firefox CSS Issues

I really like the SB Hermes Mambo template, though I notice that when it's oppened in Firefox it looks horribly messed up, I don't know much above the basics when it comes to CSS so can anyone tell if there's a fundamental problem with the template in FF, or is it fairly easily solved.

You can view the template here,

    What's wrong with it? I don't see a horrible mess in FF1.3.

The right hand column is a bit empty without anything under the RSS buttons but apart frmo that it looks fine.

I am going to say not easy to fix. Appears to be a pure CSS script with no javascript. Was impressed by the code but I do not see how it could be fixed easily.

Using FF 1.0.3 - It looks totally different in IE. No tabs in FF.

To be honest, without spending a real long time going through the markup and Styles I couldn't tell you...

Looking at the styles though, they do seem very overcomplicated...

I could produce that layout with a quarter of the code...

Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little with 'horrible mess' but the major issue for me is that the background colours aren't showing up in the tables, makes it look pretty bland. Shame because it's a nice template and my CSS isn't up to scratch to fix it.

I don't think CSS has much to do with it - this page is a horrible mix of HTML (bgcolor, width, valign, etc) and CSS formatting.
