Malicious Clicks

Over the weekend, I noticed Malicious Clicks on one of my ad channels - obviously invalid, way too many clicks for impressions. I deactivated the ad channel and reported it to Google through their reporting form. I got an email this morning confirming my report, saying not to worry about it, that they may change my payment to remove the earnings from the invalid clicks, etc. Said I should report suspicious activity, and gave me links for information.

Then about 5 hours later, I get an email stating my account was disabled for invalid clicks... uh... hello? Yes, I told you they were invalid!

What do I do now? I have sent in an Appeal and replied to the first email asking what is going on.

I have a sinking feeling that they won't re-enable it - I mean, when do they ever re-enable someone's account?

But, does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do?

I say give it a little bit of time or maybe contact them once more to clarify. The second email was most likely generated automatically.

I am really curious to know how this turns out, please keep us informormed here.

Ok, I will. I'm just very frustrated. I mean, I saw the clicks, and as soon as I saw them, I disabled the ad channel and reported it. And yet they disabled me anyway :(.

That is a big problem with Google and most large companies is that you get an answer from one person and another person does something else. Then when you say you got something from the first person, nobody knows who that was.

I would be shocked if you get reinstated but will check back so please let us know.

yeah they still have not responded to any of the emails or the appeal i sent them. This is such BS... i didn't do anything, and I get punished and lose all my earnings for last month because of a malicious user... how nice...

if you did not click your own ads, you must contact with the adsense team with the proofs that you did not create any invalid clicks

What kind of proof do you show? I reported the clicks as soon as I saw them (same day, withina few hours i think of it happening) and disabled the ad channel. They sent me an email saying thanks for reporting it and they'd adjust my payment to remove earnings from the invalid cilcks. A few hours later, they deactivated my account... I've appealed and emailed several times, but no response yet.
