Malicious ad clicking?

Today I check my adsense info and my clicks are way up. Not a little up, way up. I had over 100 clicks today with the same amount of traffic as usual. This is a little alarming because I've used adsense for a year now and I've never had that amount of clicks, not even half of that in a day. If this something I should be worried about? Could this be malicious in any way? Like a person trying to get me banned? Basically I'm just wondering if I should contact G or not.

    Thanks for the help.

I think there is someone screwing with the clicks on one of my sites. Today, I had one channel show up with 5 visits, no clicks and earned .01 cent.

What happened to your account? I had something similar happen over the weekend - way too high of clicks to impressions. I disabled my ad channel and reported the problem to google. They confirmed my report, said not to worry, and they'd adjust my payment. Then they emailed and said they disabled my account. No word yet on what is going ot happen.

    I have had something similar recently - a CTR of 200% !!!
I didn't even know it was possible. I figured that somebody must have clicked
all the ads in a box - one after another and returned each time to click on more ads.
This could be someone checking out the site,
but also some type of spy-robot to determine which ads are placed on which pages.
(Those robots would "click" the ads to find the true destination URL
and then gather statistics on who advertises what for how long and then
draw conclusions in terms of profitability...similar software exists for search, it would be new for content though)...

How many clicks do you normally get on average. It depends on how much of an increase this was on normal activity.
