maldet email alert

    hi

    i installed LMD (maldet) n my VPS server - centos 6. I already configured /usr/local/maldetect/conf.maldet and set email alert as ="1" and also configured my email address.. but im not receiving any scan reports via email. If uninfected or if undetected i will not be getting any mails? Can someone confirm this please? I already checked my exim mail log and couldnt see any mail generated.

    maldet is there under daily cron directory.
